Over the past few years high street chains discovered there was a missing market for tall women's clothing. New ‘Tall’ ranges launched within high street brands and proved very successful.
As a woman being raised within a family with a history of tall women (5ft 10’’+) I always had to shop at stores directed at the taller lady. So over the past couple of years I was quite happy with what was available to me. Yet it wasnt until I became pregnant in 2008 that I realised that there was a huge need for 'Tall' Maternity clothes in the UK market.
I began researching into this when I realised I had no other choice but to adapt my Tall trousers myself or wear maternity skirts and dresses, which throughout winter was highly impractical.
As well as researching into stores that stock Tall clothing, online blogs and other tall people, I came to realise there was an extremely high demand for a fashionable yet competitive range of Tall Maternity clothes.
And so the Brand MaternaTall was born...
